Prof. Dr. Asım Aydın

He was born in Isparta in 1965. He completed his primary and secondary education in Isparta. He graduated from Kuleli Military High School in 1983 and GATA Medical Faculty in 1989. He received his specialty training at Hacettepe University, Department of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery between 1991-1997. While working as a specialist doctor at Ankara Dışkapı SSK Training and Research Hospital between 1998 and 2000, he also served in his private practice. In 2000, he founded the Department of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Süleyman Demirel University. Between 2000 and 2003, he worked on craniofacial surgery and functional muscle transfer for facial paralysis at the Medical College of Wisconsin Froedtert Children's Hospital and the University of Michigan. Except for 2011, when he became the clinical chief at Antalya Training and Research Hospital, he worked as a faculty member at SDÜ Faculty of Medicine for 21 years and served as the Head of the Department. He has a major share in Süleyman Demirel University Faculty of Medicine Plastic Surgery Clinic becoming a reference center serving the entire Western Mediterranean region, including Antalya. Professor M. Asım Aydın has been serving in his own practice since December 2022. Dr. Aydın, who spent his entire career as an instructor in clinics providing Specialization Training, has extensive experience in all areas of Plastic Surgery.
